Founder + CEO of The Femina Collective

Beth is the founder & CEO of Femina Collec9ve, a social enterprise that empowers women in mining and related sectors through mentorship, networking, and advocacy. She was recognized as one of the Globe and Mail's top 50 Changemakers in Canada for 2021, for her work in pushing the boundaries for mining to be more diverse and inclusive. Beth is passionate about feminism, Indigenous rights, and climate crisis ac9on, and has worked extensively in Sub-Saharan Africa and North America, bridging worldviews and creating impactful strategies around sustainability and ESG. 

Beth is also a sustainability leader and a mining executive. As part of her executive roles, she has led the development and implementation of the company's ESG strategy, policies, and practices.  She also fostered strong relationships with stakeholders, communities, and regulators to advance the company's social license and reputation. Beth's strong understanding of ESG  requirements is balanced with an understanding of company and industry risks and opportunities.  Beth is focused on creating a more responsible and inclusive mining industry for all.

Peggy - Chief Growth Officer

Peggy Bell's two-decade tenure in the mining industry has positioned her as a key influencer in talent development, communication, business growth, and innovation. As the founder of Resource Becoming, she has been instrumental in strategic advancements and reshaping how the sector approaches talent attraction, leveraging her extensive experience with industry leaders such as SGS SA and AECOM Canada Ltd. Her ability to drive systemic changes has made her a vital figure for sustained industry success. Since she has joined The Femina Collective, Peggy has been instrumental in creating the 2024 growth plan, which sees Femina growing internationally.

In her career, Peggy has taken on global leadership roles, demonstrating exceptional skills in developing business strategies, executing market plans, and securing development funds. Her strategic foresight, financial expertise, and leadership capabilities have significantly contributed to her organization's growth and market position. Her role extends beyond business development, as Peggy has led diverse teams to meet and exceed key performance targets while closely monitoring global market trends.
