We believe in the power of our collective decision-making and in ensuring that the scholarship program aligns with our shared values and vision. Therefore, it is our current Executive Members who determine the awarded scholarships based on the application process.

The scholarships are awarded to full-time students who are pursuing studies in areas related to the Natural Resource sector. Recipients must be:

• Enrolled in a post secondary or trade program related to natural resources.

• Between the age of 19-30

• Identifies as a female

• Canadian citizen or permanent resident

• Applicants must maintain a cumulative B average (or equivalent) and be enrolled full-time with a minimum of 12 credit hours per term.

The selected scholarship recipients will not only receive financial assistance but also get the chance to network and access mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals within the Femina Collective community. We believe in the power of mentorship to foster personal and professional growth.

Applicants are invited to share their vision for using the funds within their academic journeys and how they plan on empower and inspire younger generations of women and girls to continue participating in the natural resource space.

We encourage applicants to use whatever communication medium feels the most comfortable. This could be a written essay, video, poem or interpretive dance. We encourage applicants to be creative in their submission. Applicants are encouraged to use these options to effectively demonstrate their qualifications and explain how they plan to use the funds in the Natural Resource Sector.
